BLACK CHERRY, PLUM & BURGUNDY RED

all my makeup is the same shade

did I throw all my money down the drain?

i coat my eyes with thick black paint 

and bush gold in the corners, do I resemble a saint?

oh for what do i even try,

for a man who hardly knows the difference between a truth and a lie?

i line my lips with a burgundy red,

only for it to stay on during bed.

tease my hair, bat my eyes,

fill the room with my pitiful sighs.

and the lipstick you bought me matches the maids.
